Description:
|
This is a National Forrest Camp ground located on the western border of YellowStone NP. Its right on the road about 7 or 8 miles before you get to the West Yellowstone entrance. They have gravel sites--little or no road, just pull in off the main road. The stream is full of rainbow trout, but they would not bite anything we thru at them. Nice sleeping listening to the water in the stream. They have a person that come around and collects the camping fees. s/Toby

If you do not mind dry camping (we stayed here two days), This is an ideal CG. Its right on the stream with lots of trout (if you just could get them to bite--you can see them) For supplies, you can drive down the road to West Yellowstone. We enjoyed our tay here. There were at least 5 or 6 others staying in this small CG. s/Toby
