Description: Very nice campground located close to all the local attractions. The campground provides shuttle service to various locations such as the Harrah's Casino or the train ride located in Bryson City. We walked around and looked at everything. Super clean everywhere. We are on a site with a concrete patio which is nice. They are in the process of doing them all. The mountain stream running through the park is kept stocked and we observed just about everyone catching trout in the 8 - 12” size range.

They are still charging a fee for WiFi here. There is a very strong Verizon signal so I'm using my air card.

We took the train ride out of Bryson City. Upgraded to a Club Car and it was worth every penny. Very nice ride with about an hour stop for shopping.

Pros:
Cons: Campground is chainging owners

We have stayed there 3 years straight for the 4th of July and have had no problems what so ever. They have changed owners this year and the crowds were slim. We had a problem with the geese as the place was over run with them around the lake, and you know what they leave laying around.
