Full Post at https://www.rvingforlife.com
I have been asked to write on Full Time Rving....Not just for the Retired from a rvingforlife.com community member that is looking into selling her home, and considering a fifth-wheel for her residents while she continues to work a full-time job.

There are countless people all around the U.S. that are making the change from "Wage Slave" to "Freedom" everyday. Single people, Couples and some with young children hitting the road.

How do they achieve this?
Most work remotely or work short periods of time to save up funds to travel on then go. Others work at the same location, but found that selling their homes and purchasing an RV allows them to save and as our community member mentioned, takes the savings and purchased property in Hawaii! "Great Idea".

The savings alone from no property taxes to pay and some possible savings for utilities. Sometimes even internet included with a lot rent our RV Park can be less than a permanent residents. Also timing is everything, selling and paying off what you have left on your mortgage leaves some with enough equity to off set a big portion or all cash for an RV.

Look at YouTube, there are many channels on that make money just making*videos of*their RV life. I especially like LessJunkMoreJourney*and NomadicFanatic.*

There are so many to choose from and great information from their channels. Disclaimer, I do not have any affiliate connection with these two other than a subscriber. But if you like them, let them know I sent you, would be a nice gesture.

Back to our main topic now
As I mentioned above, there are a lot more people and more everyday that are Full Timers. Why live a life of 9 to 5 or more* when the work location can be Florida, Utah or Arizona in the winter! The beach with the sunrise and a cup of coffee to start the day is really appealing to me! I need my coffee to start the day! And when you are tired of your view, just move along.

No it is not for everyone this is true, but how would we know if we don't try?* Over six years ago the estimated amount of people on the road full-time was 250,000! I would think it is closer to 500,000 today if not more!

Cause and Effect
States every year are enacting new RV laws because of this growth and the amount of people choosing the lifestyle of living in RV's.* * Many say you can only stay in an RV a certain amount of days in the city for example. Other states are trying to add laws of how long you can stay on State or Bureau of Land Management "BLM" lands for various reasons. Usually these are 14 days and many areas are very scenic.

Garbage from the few that give the rest a bad reputation is part to blame for the laws, there is no doubt. Cleanup after ourselves and sometime a little from the others will help us curtail these issues if we all stay vigilant in our efforts.

How do I know if it's for me?
Just do it!* OK maybe not quite yet, but try borrowing an RV from a friend if you are able, or better yet, rent one. You can rent an RV for a week or more and go traveling in your surrounding area. Keep an open mind because there will be challenges for newbies but you will get the feel of the basics in a few weeks if it is for you. Even a little bit would make it a reason to do more research.

If not for you to become a Full Timer than perhaps just enough to purchase your own for weekends and road trip vacations. The point is to enjoy life and the time we have with benefits of meeting new friends and unforgettable memories! Not to mention the sunsets, sunrises and wildlife!

Even if you consider purchasing any recreational vehicle, rather it be large or small and place it in a park while you work. That is a point where if things go "south" such as work or anything. You have the option to hook up,start-up your home and go north, south, east or west!

Scratched Surface
That's not what we want on our RV's! But this is what I have done here. Do a little research, share this website "www.rvingforlife.com" with people you know.

And send me your suggestions and comments. After all, it's only as good as the information we can gather together.

Special thanks to PL!

You're the inspiration for this post.

Thank you and remember, be kind to one another.
