It has been a month and we are picking up the coach from the repairs to the DPF system. Its once again on a Friday. I drive to Ancira RV, meet with Tim (Service) and Steve (my sales guy), go over everything done with them and a tech.

Tim notices the coach has 1/4 tank of diesel and tells me to go grab a water while he sends a porter to fill it up. We are basically getting a "DO OVER" from the original delivery.

I hook up the jeep, test all the lights, do a walk around. Grab a pepsi from the fridge and away I go headed home.

Now from Boerne to Spicewood where we live is about 75 miles ish. Beautiful hill country drives. 45-55 mph on the back roads 65 on the major roads.

Between my start location and my house is Blanco, it is about 1/2 way about 35 miles. In Blanco there is a large fuel station for big trucks. About 1/2 mile before this station the warning lights to check engine then immediately after the light to Stop Engine immediate lights come on. No regen light but these lights are serious so I coast into the fuel station, park out of the way and call Tim. I can hear his expression when I tell him its me. He calls JD and JD calls me all within 3 min.

Explain to everyone the situation, JD tells me it could be a loose connection but it could be more serious than that and I should not risk moving it further. I follow up with Tim and Steve let everyone know I am waiting on the wrecker again.

I unhook the jeep and call my brother who lives close by to come with his truck. We unload 90% of our personal belongings leaving only cooking stuff on the coach. Lock it up, hide the keys under the coach and head home for a BEER....
