Has anyone replaced the filter yourself? I could use some guidance with this. Should I just replace the filter or remove the whole system (including the slobber tube) and replace it on the workbench?

Thanks.
I followed the directions and double checked the measurements and the wheels turn completely in both directions. does the stabalizer have a center position on it trying to keep you straight and if so do I need to move my mounting bracket a little bit? I really did not have a steering issue before and am now wondering if I should just take it back off. can not get back to it untill next week. Thanks

I am looking for the clear acrylic/plastic part of the handle that you grab to assist going up the steps into the MH. We have a 2001 Tradewinds. The acrylic part finally broke in two. It is curved and approximately 11 inches long. I know National RV used them on many of their motor homes as did many other brands. I found one place where I can buy the entire handle including the chrome ends for about $50 plus freight, but would really like to find just the clear acrylic part for replacement. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

Is anyone else as frustrated at these bloody awful fixtures & bulbs as I am? :banghead:

Let me explain:

The bulbs are NOT designed for use in a vibration-prone environment. Therefore after a rough ride there are always 5 or 6 bulbs that need replacing.

They cost $5.00 a bulb

The glass cover is a pain to remove as it must be pushed up and unscrewed simultaneously. The fixture is set flush with the ceiling covering so it doesn't want to yield easily.

As they are halogen bulbs, you must wear gloves so as not to put oils from your hand on the bulbs, shortening already lousy bulb life even more.

Trying to put the new bulb in is a nightmare as the pins don't want to engage the tiny nearly inaccessible holes in the fixture.

Newmar, I love your coaches, but this is a horrible design and miserable engineering choice.

Owners, any suggestions on how to insert the bulb so that it engages the pins? I am at my wits end.

Oh, and did I mention that there are 46 of those bleeping lights?

Hi
We have a 2001 Kountry Star 36 ft. diesel pusher. Love it however, the heater will not exceed 86 degrees at the outlets. We live in Canada and make the run to the USA for a three month vacation in the winter. The trip down there is not fun with the coach temp. I have installed a booster pump to push in line, thinking the extra push will give me hot water and a warmer temp. It did make the hoses hot however it still does not get better at the vents. The air flow is great 'just a very luke warm".
What can I do, and how do I do it ?????
Thank in advance

I'm a full time Rver and have been using a Hughes net Sat dish for internet. I have been pleased over all with it's performance and don't have any probelms with data limits. But getting sick of putting it up and I don't have access traveling.

But now I'm thinking of using a Cell phone for internet access. Specifically a Droid. What I'm concerned about is the 5gb limit (not enough data). I know the Droid can tether, but can I use PDa Net to tether and bypass Verizon limits.

I assume I need the unlimited data plan...which from what I understand isn't unlimited.

Also can the droid be used as a internet connection for 2 laptops.

I'm a newbie on this cellphone stuff, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I guess what I really want is a Cell Phone that I can use to access the internet when traveling. Then when stationary tether it to a laptop but not have to worry about a 5gb limit on data.

Thanks Mark

Are anyone of you using Internet radio?

A couple of month ago i bought (in Denmark) a wireless Internet radio that hooks up to my wireless router. This is working so well (I can really recommend this) that I would like to use this when we travel in the US. I bought a Pinell Iconnect radio but it seems like this is not being sold outside Scandinavia for some reason.

On Ebay I find USB dongles that would appear to provide Internet radio and also TV - something like this. I wonder if this is a "play and pay" kind of system because the USB key appears to be almost free? I can also see that places like Best Buy stocks Internet radios but they seem a bit bulky compared to tthe one I have already.

Another, and very important thing is, how much data is an Internet radio downloading? We have a 5GB limit per month (Verizon) and for some reason it will cost an absolot fortune to exceed this limit by even a few MB.

:anyone:
