We have a new moderator in the house and some retiring moderators and wanted to take a minute to express a hearty thanks for service to the community (past and still to come). Being a moderator can be a thankless undertaking so let's take a moment to applaud these folks for giving their time, dedication and considerable patience on behalf of the iRV2 community. RustyJC, Joe-K, MonacoMama, and MadameBoomer have recently retired from moderating and just in time for camping season.
Being a moderator isn't a lifetime conscription and we are grateful for the time dedicated volunteers have spent and the care and concern expended to help make iRV2 friendly, informative and fun. Take a moment to post a thanks, send a note or cook them a perfect marshmallow the next time you see them at a rally.
Look for this seasons new moderators as well (and cut the newbies some slack as they get up to speed). elkhartjim is our newest moderator and will be busily learning the ropes over the next few days. Welcome aboard Jim.

A very heartfelt to our retirees. All 4 of you have helped make iRV2 what it is today & we will always be grateful for the hard work, dedication & service you gave to iRV2. A well deserved rest for each of you. We certainly hope you will all continue to post in & around the Forums. (Joe, in your honor, you can have the 1st "official" Cheeto at our upcoming campout!)
Jim, congratulations on being named a Community Moderator. You've proven yourself a helpful & considerate member & we're glad to have you on board our Team! Study hard, don't let 'em trip you up & you'll do great.
Now, Andy, about that raise.....

Well I've been on the job for about a day and its mind boggling the responsibility the moderators have on this forum. I hope I can eventually attain the profieciency to just be close to the "retiring" mod's abilities and commitments.
I've been blessed to personally know two of those retiree's and believe me they are owed much more than a perfectly roasted marshmallow.
Lookin' for that slack now!

Many thanks to Rusty and Sandy. We first met them 10 years ago at what was the 1st rally of the Texas Boomers as we know them now. Two of the best people you will meet anywhere.
Jim, welcome to the backroom. You will pick it pretty fast and it can be fun. It can also provide for some frustrating moments.

A big thank you to those of you retiring. Also another big thank you to those currently doing a great job and welcome to the new moderators now in place and any that are comming in the future. I've not been a longtime member of iRV2 compared to others, but the forum is a great place to learn and enjoy all the benefits of being a member. Once again, thanks to all who make this a great place.
