Hi...I know this has been beat to death, but I just can't find anything in the archives that gives me the answer I need. The shower valve in my 03 Brave 34D has been a problem since day one. We have lived with it,but now it drips all night. I took the valve apart, and could not get it back together w/o the dripping. So, can anyone suggest any easy replacement valve and handle set up. I will greatly appreciate any help....Len

Easy cheap solution might be a shutoff valve at the shower head.

Thanks bdpreece,,,,I tried one of those from Home Depot, but believe it or not, it didn't stop the drip. Anyhow,I can't get the old faucet back together w/o a leak. Len

I have a 2003 Itasca,so you probably have the same shower faucet as me. It is a Phoenix #1351.Call Phoenix at 440-933-8100.They will send you the two springs and two small rubber seats for free; or you can buy a rebuild kit for about $14.00. I also tried several different cut-off valves from Lowes and Home Depot. They are designed to trickle, not shut off. I finally found a shower flow controller with a ball valve at Do it Best Hardware. Go to doitbest.com to find a store near you. Lloyd

Is that a replacement faucet or a valve that you inserted between the faucet and shower hose. I am looking for a one handle replacement for the faucet as my problem is temperature control. I can't easily get a good mix, either too hot or too cold.

Len - If you still haven't found it, check out rvwaterfilterstore.com. They have some interesting gadgets.

John, I did not replace the faucet. The shut off valve installed at the end of the flexible hose is a positive shut-off ball valve (no dripping). Then I received the parts to repair the existing faucet. No drips now!
