04 Sightseer 30B front trim removal

We have delamination in the front lower passenger side corner where the front fiberglass nose meets the body panel. There is a vertical aluminum trim molding on the body panel with a vinyl inset strip that has two screws and adhesive that holds the inset. The aluminum trim piece also has screws under the inset but even with the screws removed it is snug against the body.

I was attempting to see if I could remove the trim pieces and then get at the delamination and repair it.

Does anyone know if the trim is held by adhesive and can it be removed without damaging it?

Thank you!

I am sure yours is like mine you have to remove the screws and peel it off. You will find out they did not seal that area on both sides. I was able to fix mine and it looks good.
