2011 Sunova which should be the Sightseer equivalent on the Itasca side. Mine has three slides and PowerGear electric motors and track system. The full wall slide lock failed week one and I had to open it up and disconnect it extend the slide. Then I noticed the rub marks the slide lock made on the walls a couple months later. I haven't used them since. 4.5 years and 39, 000 miles later not so much as a millimeter of unwanted opening. Several RV mechanics have told me they are unnecessary. Now hydraulic slides might be a different story.
Have an 05 Sightseer. Stopped using the strap after I put the slide out with it still attached. Yep it pulled right out (Ouch). Have never had the slide creep out.
