Sorry I didn't explain myself well enough in the other post. It was the dash air that went belly up, not the basement air. I would appreciate any ideas.

First suspect might be a leak in the refrigerant. Just about every car part store (NAPA Etc.) will sell you a a gauge and replacement coolant. Our old coach took two cans of the stuff with the stop leak additive and it worked fine for a couple of years after that. Of course you can always run the gen and house air instead. All the studies I've read say you actually get better gas mileage that way. Plus the whole coach is cool when you get to the campground.

I ran the genset and house air from St Louis to Rapid City, SD. The milage stayed about the same and the coach was a lot cooler. So now I am thinking about just forgetting the repair on the dash air.

Finhawk,
Are you still at the factory ? Are you going to have Winnebago check it out? The dash A/C is installed by Winnebago and not the chassis manufacturer.

No, I'm in Rapid City, SD. I decided to wait and have the guys I bought it from check it out. I have to have them do some body work on the damage caused by the Nashville flood so I'll kill 2 birds with one stone
