The top part of my hood used to have a really nice glossey black finish. The
Sun has faded it over the past few years. I've tried a good wax and it doesn't help. I've thought about using a mild rubbing compound on it. Any suggestions??

3M cleaner/wax

I used 3M cleaner/wax found it at a local boat shop.Then sealed it with 3M scotchguard wax it was an all week end project but it sure worked good water beads up like crazy.
