1987 Elandan

Hi.
I am looking at a 1987 Elandan 27' with a 454 Chevy motor. Any thoughts as to build quality, parts availability, reliability, etc. I'm a complete newbie! So any advice would be appreciated. Please feel free to email me directly.
Cheers.

Greetings!

A great thing about Winnebago is, they have parts for many of their models going way back. For example, they own the molds for water tanks etc. So they can make you a brand new tank if you need one. Call Winnebago customer service in US 866/311/7133. Tell them what you're looking at and they should be able to tell you how good parts availability is. They can tell you everything, especially if you can provide them the VIN number. They'll tell you what date it rolled out of the factory....

I'm not sure who made the chassis on that coach, but they can help you with those things too.

One other thing, I noticed there have been several threads on this forum about the Elandan, even the '87 specifically. Run a search of Elandan in the search bar at the top the forum set to search within the forum (by default) to find the other posts. These may be helpful to you as well.

Hope this gets you heading in the right direction, safe travels and good luck to you!

W.D.
