1999 Winnebago Itasco Spirit 22' - MPG guess...

A friend just purchased a 1999 Winnebago Itasco Spirit 22' with 57K miles for a pretty good price. It runs on a 450 Triton V10 E350 Heavy Duty. Previous owners claim 12 mpg and I was thinking it would be more like 10 on the high end. Am I wrong? And I know it depends a lot on variables -- but, I'm thinking like driving 65 mph and a pretty level road.

I think a salesman, or a private individual selling a motorhome, may exaggerate some of the items features. Especially when the "what gas mileage does it get" question is asked.
