I have roof leak that causes water to build up in and come out of the from the tv cabinet. (water comes out after you turn a corner after a rainshower) I am working on the leak but the tv doesn't work'(not surprising) First, has anyone experienced this type of leak? Second, I am trying to remove the old tv, I removed the screws from the plastic piece under the tv but can't get the piece to come out. Any one help me with how to remove the old tv? Thanks

We had the same leak on our 02 Horizon after we left Nashville in May after the record breaking rain there....I got up on the roof and applied a strip of Eternabond where the front cap meets the body...Then caulked around everything else...I have not had the leak since but we haven't sat thru 16" of rain and wind again either...
As far as the tv plastic surround removal..There are also wood screws 3 or 4 on each side that have to be removed...You get to them from the cabinets on each side of the tv...Hope this helps

Try caulking around the running lights in the roof cap, after a few years the seals break down.

You are definitely on the right track with the seal (or not) between the front cap and the body. Because of "J" channel water can get in there and travel until it finds a place to enter the coach. When chasing water leaks it is a good idea to reseal everything unless you are luckier then I am and guess correctly the first time.
