How can I find out if my 2002 Minnie 31c is pre-wired for a backup camera?

Or, what is the best way to install the wiring on my rig if it's NOT prewired? I keep getting stumped on this one.

Thanks!

Chester

why not use a wireless system? this system is not available yet, but they say it will be soon. ppl is a reputable company.
when my sony wired system quits working, this will be the replacement. sony parts are not reliable and are too expensive.

Thanks for your reply Dan L. I'm considering wireless...however:

with a wireless camera, I'll still have to power it. So I would need that available. Also, if motorhome is already pre-wired for a backup camera, I would much prefer a hard-wired connection.

So it would still be the most helpful to know about the pre-wiring.

Best Regards,
Chester

I would look at the end cap of your coach. If there is a cover of some sorts that is where the camera would go, that would be the first good sign that it is. If so take that cover off & see if there is wire coiled up near by. Maybe even look up behind the end cap to see if you can see a coil of wire tied off . If not .........

It is likely pre-wired. Even my old 1997 Adventurer was pre-wired from the factory for a camera.

If you want to determine the location at the rear for the wire, just call Winnebago customer relations and they will tell you exactly where to look.
