I started getting a unfriendly odor coming the cooling ducts, kind of like something was getting hot and a little burnt smell,,, I got under the RV to see if I could see anything. I saw where a lot of fluid had been leaking out of some very small lines up above the air conditioner, quite a bit... Is that not right and could that be the problem and where is resurvoir for that fluid... There don,t seem to be a way to get the front hatch open, help help

welcome to the irv2 forum.
what kind of rv do you have?
you can update your signature block with this info.
on my moho there are 2 1/4'' plastic hydraulic lines that operate the bedroom slide above the coleman basement air conditioner unit. i have hwh jacks and slides. my lines leaked at a connection. loosening each connection and turning it 1/4 turn and retightening stopped the leak. otherwise i would have had to replace the lines.

Welcome to the forum! The hinged "door" on the ac compartment is secured with a couple of screws in tabs on the bottom edge, and several up each side. With it open, you may still not be able to see the source. I also had leaks in that area from hydraulic fittings to the bedroom slide. There was a batch of bad fittings in that time period, but yours would be long past any warranty.
