Clean-up time nice weather down here in Mississippi! Usually use roof cleaner from Camping World are there any better suggestions? Have read mop-and-glow after scrubing? We will be parked for extended time in wooded area lots of pines so any extra protection ideas would be great!

I did mine last year. Scrubbed it down a couple of times with spic & span and then applied 2 coats of Pledge Future Shine. It is acrylic based and very tough stuff. I was on top of mine not long ago and was pleased with how well it looked.
I applied the wax with one of those sponge flat mops. 2 bottles did the job.

I wash mine good with Turtle Wax Zip wash and scrub the worst areas with a Mr. Clean magic eraser. Then, a good coat of Mop 'n Glow and it looks pretty good.

+ 2 for Mr Cleans Magic Eraser on the tough spots. Good tip about the Mop & Glow...didn't know that.

I just finished mine yesterday -- used the Camping World Gel-Coat cleaner and Polisher. Polished it with an auto polisher as I went -- reflection off of it this AM was fantastic. I do mine in the Spring and again in the Fall.

I gotta get with the program here... I mopped (scrubbed) it, and did a full wax/ buff on my knees :(. It's actually dangerous up there when it rains. Mop & Glo actually lasts in the sun?
BTW- What spots for Mr. Clean.. The little black ones scattered around?

Jeff, as to Mr. Clean...yes, I use it to remove those black spots that won't wash off during the normal wash. I suspect there are more aggressive cleaners I could use on the roof but, with my new full body paint job, I am not going to use anything more agressive than what I would wash the coach with.
I used the Mop 'n Glo for the first time last year instead of 303 or Protect All. I mopped on one coat with a sponge floor mop. It doesn't shine like it would if you get on your knees and wax/buff the roof but it looked pretty good. The roof seems to have stayed cleaner over the winter.

I'm a big fan of Collinite Collinite Wax Products* :: Choice of the Pros :: Auto, Marine and Industrial Their line of products are for marine, rv, and aeronautical finishes. The cleaner the cleaner-wax and the wax, great stuff. When I wax the roof, I have found that working the outside on all 4 sides leaves a strip not done about 3.5ft wide down the middle. This keeps me away of what is now a real slippery edge. I also use a Sharpie marker to remember where I am (small marks). The marks give a nice reference point when I'm trying to cope with the sun's reflection on a white roof. Oh yeah, there is the gel knee pads on the folded towel. I was looking for the smilie with sore shoulders.

Dawn dish washing liquid (blue) worked great to clean the roof. 2 coats of Mop n Glo and it looks brand new. Used it to stop all the chalky white streaks. Bought RV this fall and don't think it had ever been done, surprised how well it turned out.
