2002 Ultimate Freedom trailer brake connection
I looked under the dash and tie wrapped to the steering column I found this socket. Is it the Tekonsha trailer brake connection?

That's not like any Tekonsha pigtail I've ever seen, it looks like the diagnostic connector port. Tekonsha has only 4 wires, that connection has 6 sockets. I have a new Tekonsha Primus sitting here on my desk and just double-checked. I've never heard of any MH pre-wired for an electric brake controller.

This socket actually has 4 wires to it. I agree, it doesnt look like a Tekonsha TB socket.
Possibly there is a pigtail somewhere else in the area behind the steering column.
Only really need the brake actuator wire and a ground.
I know my coach is prewired , just not sure where connectors are under dash.
Have blue wire coiled up behind tow light socket which is the trailer brakes connection.

Test the 4 wired connections to determine what they feed.(do the sockets have a set screw?) If that is a pre-wired electric brake connector, why does it have 6 sockets? That would be something W installed in your specific year Ultimate, me nor anyone else here with an Ultimate have knowledge of a pre-wired electric brake connector. Looks like I'll be twisting underneath my dash this week.

Ray,
Our previous coach, a '99 Fleetwood Bounder, 34V with the F-53 chassis and the Triton V-10, came pre-wired for electric brakes. And, our present coach, an '04 Itasca Horizon 36GD with the CAT C-7 330HP, also came pre wired for trailer brakes. Both coaches had the red, blue, black and white wires, tied in a bundle and labeled "trailer brake connection". The Bounder wire/bundle was under the dash, tucked up in so it would be tough to find. The Horizon's wire bundle is in the lower left front compartment, along with a few thousand miles of other wires and important components.
