We purchased this unit late last season and our water heater only works on propane. Shouldn't it also work on electric? Talking with friends that have different types of rigs (other than Winnebago), some say there is a switch to change from propane to electric.
We have searched and looked in our manual but can't locate any switch.
Anyone have any ideas?

I had a 02 Brave 34D until two years ago and the electric water heater illuminated rocker switch was located at about eye level on the control panel with your water pump switch and the black/fresh and grey level read outs. Maybe the previous owner modified the system?
Someone with a similar model might send you a photo.

On our '02, the switch to turn on the electric is in the cabinet door over the microwave.

Also to make sure you have electric, look on your 110V breaker panel. You should have a separate breaker for the water heater.

Thanks for the replies - we will check those ideas out.
Yesterday when he tried to find the switch, he did some serious looking, even getting a mirror to see the back of the tank. He can see a switch back there and it looks like it is turned to the "off" position. Only way he can see to access the switch is to take the tank, etc. out. Not sure about having to do all that.
