2004 Adventurer 37B

Happy wife/happy life
With that being said we/she fell in love with a local 2004 Adventurer 37b(but higher priced than our budget). Found one in Houston(over 1,000 mile drive to see it @ PPlmotorhomes). Any input would be appreciated along with working with PPL. Looks good on the internet but has almost 90k miles. I'm thinking to find a local RV specialist to go check it out first. It's our first RV so once again any input would be appreciated.
Thanks/Jim & Diane

Been there done that results not good. Maybe you can find someone in the Houston area that you can trust to give you a name of a dealer there that will do a careful check out. I believe that it has too many miles to buy an extended warranty on. But then you may be much more of a handyman then myself and able to fix most things.
I know that there's a Winnebago Itasca dealer in that area. Suggest they are the ones that should check the coach out.
After my last experience, not to buy a Coach without seeing, walking through it, and personally seen everything work. A large expanse is the tires. Remember that no matter how good they look if they are over 7 years old they should be replaced. They have a manufacture date stamp on them. You don‘t care when they were bought and mounted.
Good luck.

Better off finding one with lower miles even if you have to pay additional dollars.

This is my opinion and many may not agree.

First, I would look for an RV with less miles. There are many with less 50,000.

Second, for a 37' gas coach I would look for a 2005 built on the Workhorse W24 chassis.
