Did Winnebago make a 39K in 2004 with the Cat 350?

See link below to brochure for 2004 Winnebago. I do not see a 39K. Mine is a 2005 39K with Cat 350 hp.

Looks like 39W was only 39' model that year.

I sat in a 2004 Meridian 39K in the Spring of 2004 ... I think it was introduced after the 2004 brochure was printed ...

I selected the 39W because the street side slide on the 2004 39K was not "flat floor" ... I wanted a recliner or euro rocker ... it only had a J couch on the street side ...

The power rating of the Cat C7 for 2004 was/is 330 hp. The same C7 for 2005 was rated at 350 hp. The difference was a reflash of the Electronic Control Module (ECM) on the engine. Both years' engines were rated at 860 lb/ft of torque.

I think that probably Skigramp has it right.

I'm looking at a 2004 39K!

It had to have been brought out mid-year, with a Cat 350 and doesn't appear in the 2004 brochure.

Only Winnebago can provide the true answer!

Thanks guys!

Golden, the early 2004s came with 330hp, ours was ordered in Jan '04 and at that time Winn started the 350hp run and options like the Smart wheel. When I was going to order our '04 I called the factory to make sure I was going to get the chassis I wanted. So '04s did come with 350hp, I have one.

Golden/Gary:

Our 2004 39W's chassis build date was 10/2003, so that is probably why it has the CAT 330 decal on the rear cap and not CAT 350, I guess. Both engines are C7's with 860 lb ft of torque, FWIW.

Hi Gopher/Dean/Gary

I think most if not all your questions will be answered in these two threads.

Cat engine parameters changed

CAT 350 Flash update
