2004 Sightseer 35 N

I am considering a 2004 Sightseer 35 N Ford F 53. I have looked both on this forum an googled with no luck for the Net Carrying capacity does anyone have this information they are willing to share.

The chassis was manufactured in April 2003 from what I have determined mid 2003 the transmission was changed to a 5 speed with tow haul mode .

I know the V 10 is a SOHC and considered bulletproof ( in theory) the 4 speed transmission how good unit is it ? any problems I should be aware of ? I historically keep the fluid changed and I will ad a fluid temperature gauge if I need to.

Thanks

I had a 1999 Chieftain 34Y on a F53 chassis (228 in wheel base). When I weighed it loaded for camping, I think I was around 1000 lbs under GVWR.
I was more space limited than weight limited. You're a foot longer but mine was top of line model and probably had more options, so weight would be about the same.

Suggest calling Winnebago Customer Service at (800) 537-1885. They've always been helpful and gotten the answers I was looking for. If you have the Winnie serial number, they should be able to give exact weight numbers as it left the factory.

I did check with Winnebago and I can carry about 3500 lbs so I am happy with that . I have used 5 star tuning on a Super Duty actually I have an SCT programmer. Has anyone used 5 star on the 4R100 transmission and the SOHC 10 cylinder . What is the biggest improvement yall have noticed ?

Seems pretty high for a 35' motorhome on a 20,500 pound chassis. Weight label sheet should be on a closet door, and/or in the big bag of manuals. That would tell you for sure.
