I have not changed the bulb so do not have first hand info. The Winnebago website has manuals online for the 05 Journey. They include a parts list and engineering drawings which should answer your question. I would look it up but I am not at my computer.

Someone that has changed the bulb may eventually respond.

Thanks, but tried that to no avail. Like you said: hopefully someone knows. Getting to that lamp is a mess.

You might pick up some ideas for bulb access by searching this forum for threads on headlamps/headlights. I recall at least one regarding reattaching a loose headlight assembly and there were comments about poor access.

Might be something in there that will help you.

Turn Signal Bulb

I found this bulb identified in the 05 Journey parts list.

BULB - 12V NUMBER 1157A - 2.10 AMP - AMBER GLASS

Good luck with the install. Please pass on anything you learn about access to the bulb if it turns out to be a challenge.

If I'm understanding your question, (GETTING TO THAT LAMP IS A MESS) you are asking HOW to get the bulb out? Or are you looking for a replacement part number? If you're trying to get it out, I think it will be similar to mine (same unit, couple years difference). The bulbs enter through the back of the larger clear reflector unit, so you get your fingers in behind (through the hole in the metal shroud) and turn a 'washer-nut' kind of thing counter-clockwise to release it, then it pulls out of the hole in the back. Pushing in on the washer-nut helps, as there's a spring clip and an O-ring in there so it's held pretty tight. That's how it works on my Itasca. Hope this helps.

Thanks everyone for your comments. For changing any of the lamps there's thread for headlamps- best describes "how to do" (get a youngster).
I tried to remove the assembly- don't work! Spent more time getting it back in place.
From the numbers on the lens I found this assembly is used on '96-'98 Pontiac Grand Ams. Found one in a car lot. As was pointed out; these lamps "unscrew" from the back. It appears they're designed for top access- like in the Pontiac.
Bottom line: I'm going to find a youngster! (or a monkey)

My '04 Meridian uses the Pontiac lamp assembly, and YES the bulb can be changed with the lamp installed. The way I did it was by laying underneath, reaching up and grasping the bulb holder. Turn clockwise and it will come out of the lamp assy. That's the easy part - now, you can put the bulb holder back in.
