I have an FD40 model 2007 Tour, living room TV, stove and couch on slide on driver's side. When the slide comes in, there is door/flap under the sink where the wiring runs in an out. When the slide comes in, the flap goes up to make room for the wiring coming in. The problem is, the wiring runs inside a metal bracket attached to some pressed-wood on the side of stove/cabinet. When the slide is out of adjustment, the metal bracket drags on the bottom of the slot, tearing up the wood-grained vinyl tape and putting so much pressure on the cabinet trim that it eventually breaks if off. I took it to the factory, they fixed the wood and adjusted the slide. Now, a few months later, it's doing the same thing. First it pulled all the tiny staples loose from the cabinet. So this time I fixed it by drilling and screwing it together. But the slide is dragging heavier all the time and it is now threatening to actually break the wood off. I know it's a simple adjustment, but Winnebago won't tell me which of the half-dozen adjustment screws on the two slide arms control the tilt as it goes in and out. I went to a dealer and they don't have a clue. I know I could adjust it myself, and would eventually find the right screws screws with some trial-and-error, but if anyone knows the correct screws to adjust this, I'd appreciate the help.

Maybe the slide mfg can help. Is it an hwh slide mechanism?.

yes, it's an HWH, but I searched this forum and others have contacted HWH, who told them they have an agreement with Winnebago not to disclose any information on the slides. It's a big secret, just like the freightliner password in your information screen that will allow you to read the fault-codes and make other changes (like reset the average mpg).
