2010 Tour

Recently acquired 2010 Winnebago Tour 42AD. To check oil in the Cummins Onan Generator, the manual says to open front panel behind which you will find the oil dip stick and filler. Problem is this front panel is only a couple inches from the chassis frame making it impossible to get this panel open wide enough to get your hand in to reach the dip stick or oil filler opening. Any other 2010 Tour owners have this problem? If so, how is the oil level in the generator checked or filled?

I believe your coach has the Cummins 10000 quiet diesel series in it.

Yes and the access door is facing to the drivers side. You should see a finger pull that opens it. May be a bolt or two that needs to be removed first. I have a friend that works in parts at Cummins in Orlando. (407) 298-2080 Call and ask for Bill
He is always ready to help.
