2011 Tour, where is the switch for this light?

Where is your switch to turn in the lights behind the valance at the front of the coach?

Also looking for the switch to turn on the awning lights.

I have looked and looked but can’t find anything that works.

If you include a picture of what light you are talking about, it might help.

A guess for the lights behind the valance,,, a dash light switch maybe?

On ours, the light above the driver's seat (guess you could call it a dome light) is turned on by the instrument cluster dimmer switch. Rolling it down dims, rolling it up all the way for a final click turns on the big light. Ours is located right next to the headlight switch.

Allen, we have different years, but may be the same.
I am wondering if you're speaking of the back lighting at the front of the coach, above the valance near the ceiling of the front cap. If so, there's a switch for those lights in the shallow cabinet above the entry door.
As far as the awning lights, that switch should be amongst the switches beside the passenger seat.
Those are the locations on our '14 Ellipse.

Thank you, we are talking about the same lights near the front cap. Above the door there is a button named accent light, it does nothing. I suspect it should turn this light on.

Still cant find a switch for the awning lights, will keep looking.

Thanks again.

You're welcome, glad to try and help!
You have found the correct switch above the door marked accent lights. With nothing happening there I suspect a bad connection or bad switch etc. Test for power at the switch, before and after switch, and go from there.
I'm stumped on the awning lights. I would say they should be in the vacinity of the passenger seat. However, did you check in the basement bays? It may be there? I'd give a call with the last 6 of VIN to WBGO customer service. They should be able to help.

Accent lights now work :-) Loose connection where power joined the rope light. Still hunting for the awning light, will check the basement.

There is a door entry light switch in the switch panel by the passengers right knee (top left looking at the panel), but I'm not aware that there even is a separate awning light??????

OK, and does the awning have to be fully extended for the awning lights to turn on?

Not on ours, it's a separate switch altogether, right beside the awning extend/retract switch.
Did you try W customer service yet?
I'm puzzled, far as I knew the switch has been in the same place for years.

I found your user manual online.....does your awning lights work with the porch light switch?
They may, and there's a short somewhere (usually in the awning wires by the roller)......and hence, they're not working.

Wow thanks. I have about 50 lbs of manuals and see no mention of awning lights. I also checked the wiring diagrams, same results.

It would not be driving quite so nuts if I didn't see the lights.

Are you sure the awning lights are not after market? a switch could be anywhere.

FWIW here's a shot of my switch panel. 2011 Itasca 42QD. No OEM awning lights, at least on mine. (No lights on the galley slide under the awning, no rope LEDs etc). Perhaps a factory option or aftermarket on your coach?

Sorry about image orientation!
