2013 36M - battery disconnect is not shutting off the inverter

On my 2013 36M Journey when I shut off the battery disconnect for the coach, the inverter panel stays on and says "FAULT! No Comm" and the fault red light comes on. Everything else in the coach is dead as it should be. I don't believe that this has been like this since we bought it new, so I am not sure what has changed but it is draining the batteries while in storage.

Has anybody else had this happen?

Yes - ours has a separate inverter on/off switch located in the basement cabinet above the actual inverter itself. Mine is actually a knob that you turn vs a switch - and I it wasn't easy to find. Good luck

wgh, on your coach the inverter is connected directly to the battery bank with only a fuse in the circuit. Do you get this message as soon as you disconnect the coach batteries?

You might try turning off the inverter before disconnect switch.

I'm not sure if mine does that or not, we fulltime. Will check when I get a chance.

Double checked and the inverter is off when I hit the disconnect and I still get the error.

wgh, in the Body, 12 Volt Wiring Installation drawings http://www.winnebagoind.com/diagram/...ire_181557.pdf
on sheet 8 there is a device that has the inverter remote, the inverter and another remote cable connected to it along with a 12VDC connection.
I think this has to do with the generator auto start. If the 12VDC shown in the drawing is from the coach 12VDC system, this goes away when you enable the battery disconnect and may be causing the comm fault.
