2014-2016 Brave - Why discontinued?

New to RV shopping, for my wife and I. Ran across the 2014-1016 Brave/Tribute. We're intrigued by the styling, but astounded that Winnebago would have made the substantial investment in a new model like this, only to pull it from the market after just three years.

I've searched all over, and can't find any definitive answers to this question. Any thoughts here? To pull something for poor sales after only 3 years would be unusual. Investment horizons tend to be longer than this, unless the sales were horrifically bad. Were there serious technical or safety issues?

Any insight you can provide would be appreciated.

Retro just wasn’t cool enough to generate sales. No sales, model dropped.

You being nice saying Retro wasn't back in.
I say it was the ugliest motorhome I have seen in decades.
I bet you can buy a used one really cheap.

Yes, the Retro-look phase really died fast, except in small “starter” travel trailers. Sales of the Brave dropped quickly and dealers had trouble selling their inventory.

Well, maybe we like the styling

Ok, so it wasn't due to any mechanical or safety issue? That's good to know.

WB did the same thing with the Vista 36Y. Just dropped it flat. The 36Y was in the 2016? model year and after a few months was just dropped. I think the 36Y wasa only around 2-3 years.
