Next update; just got a call (Friday @ 1 pm) from the Winnebago Western District Manager, and he told me the parts will be at the dealer this Monday. Maybe the conversation I had with the salesperson paid off, as he said he would make it happen. Stay tuned.
I know it sounds crazy but yes I still have to try one of those things to get the bed to move. I've had this problem since I bo9ught the coach new almost 4 years ago. We love the coach but hate the bed system
Repair update; I must give credit, where credit is due, and Winnebago (Russ) came through, and LaMesa received the parts on Monday. LaMesa (Dominic) saw to it that the parts were installed correctly (in spite of faulty directions from the manufacturer), and I picked up the coach yesterday (Tuesday). Of course we tested it, and all is well. Stay tuned, my friends, and thanks for your ideas, support, and comments.
I didn't know that the next episode would occur so soon, but the M & G braking system LaMesa installed in the coach activated the brakes on my toad (Hummer H2) on the way home from the dealer, and burner the brakes. The auto dealer says the system in the H@ was fine, but the coach was not installed properly. $3500 for everything new, and LaMesa just said they would pay Thank you LaMesa for not prolonging this repair). If I ever get out of town, I'll keep you posted.
How do you like the Grand Tour otherwise? We just put a deposit down on a 2017 Grand Tour 45RL. Sounds like you not having the best of times, but things happen. What is the M&G brake system?
Zinluvr, did you notice that this thread is just shy of 2-years old? It’s always best to leave old threads in the archive and start a new thread asking for opinions of the model you are interested in.
