2017 View J black water drainage valve leak

I’m surprised and disappointed about this leak, I suppose it has to do with the fact of the valve being cable actuated. Has anyone experienced this problem? Is there a way to adjust the cable to stop the leak? I can always take the View to the dealership for warranty work, if there is no other way to save me the hundred miles each way trip.
Thanks for any tips.

I called Winnebago and explain to them that my local Winnebago dealer would not service my coach and the nearest coach manufacturer that would was 200 miles away. They authorized me to get a local mobile repair facility as long as it had a tax ID number. They asked me to return the parts and the bill to them and they reimburse me for all of my expenses with the exception of the initial service call. So I was out $45.

Funseeka, I have seen the cable sheave back out at the valve not allowing the valve to seat. See attached picture. This picture is looking up at the valve.

Thank you grtharris. Is that issue something I should try to correct myself, or is it a service shop job?

Depends if you can get to it. You will be able to see if the sheave has moved back.
