2017 Winnebago Sunstar 35B water pump.

The water pump in my 35b runs but will not pump any water, it runs constant but we do not get any water to the coach. Just wondering if I am missing anything?

one of your other valves must be turned so that you are not getting water from your fresh water tank. Look at the other valves on the fresh water line.

miked11272, check the valve on the water system antifreeze tube.

The strainer on the inlet side of the pump may be plugged. We recently had the same problem with our 2013 Adventurer. It turned out the screen in the pump was plugged with shavings from the PEX tubing. I removed the strainer, cleaned it out, and all is well

Tried all the suggestions but still not drawing water. I will have to pull the pump when I get home from South Carolina.

Does the water system work properly when hooked up to city water? Does the water pump dump water on the ground when running? Is it lined up to the anti-freeze in feed connection?

It works fine with city water, does not leak, when I remove the inlet hose from the tank water comes out. When I disconnect the outlet side of the pump and turn it on nothing comes out but I can hear it running.

If water is running out of the inlet connection when the hose is disconnected you probably have a bad or off center check valve at the inlet connection. There is a spring loaded valve just behind the hose coupling that's supposed to close when the water hose is removed. If it doesn't close water will drain out and the pump will suck air when it's turned on.

Every once in a while ours gets off center and can be reset by pushing on the center protruding plastic nub. after a couple tries it generally centers up and reseals.

One time ours got some grime in it from the hose end. It got caught on the sealing surface and the valve remained open. In our case I was able to remove it from the panel, clean out the debris and reinstall in. If the debris has damaged the sealing surface you may have to replace it.

As a test you can take a plug similar to this:

https://www.amazon.com/Aqua-Garden-H.../dp/B004RCUTFI

and install it on the water inlet connection. If the pump works you'll know the sealing surface is either damaged or the valve isn't seating properly.

It was a stuck valve.
