2018 Forza MSRP way up from 2017, what's up with that?

Has anyone else noticed that the 2018 MSRP on the Forza lineup has jumped up $25,000-$26,000, more that an 11% increase over the 2017 models? Was at the Pomona show yesterday and could find no difference in the 2018s except for the rather large increase in MSRP.

Seems like the big price hike is because Winnebago can get away with it in a strong market.

Does anyone have any input to add? Maybe I'm missing something.

I noticed the base price on a 18 Vista LX 35F. went up 15k. This was an entry lever coach just last year and now its over 170k msrp. If they can get it they will. Shame on you Winnebago. With the quality they put out they should be lowering prices not raising them. So basically they drop the better coaches and raise the price on the lower level ones to match the price on those they dropped. Interesting marketing strategy.

Looked at 2018 at a dealer last week. Only difference I saw from the 2017 was matrix wiring which was neat but not worth over 20k. Was told the newer 2018's would have freightliner new digital dash cluster. Still doesn't add up to over 20k.

Maybe they are paying their workers better, cause it's hard to find them and we can't import more lol

The Sightseer which is now the top of the line gas Class A, went from $155,000 in 2016 to $192,000 in 2018 (33c model). No significant changes. I do suspect the dealer margin has increased as Thor in particular, typically showed big discounts.

I think it's the nature of the current market. Most of the dealers are bumping up prices on their coaches. Simple supply and demand. People have money again and are getting back into RVing.

Sightseer is top of the line class A GAS since the demise of the Adventurer/Suncruiser, (that surprised me). The top of the entire class A lineup is the Grand Tour 45RL. We have yet to see what emerges from Country Coach above that.....possibly an entry into the highline market. (?)

Yup, the market is screaming hot right now, and as cycles go, it will crash again. Mystery is when.

Well the dash hasn't changed on the 2018 Forza. Has anything changed?

There seems to be a mid year refresh, new front and rear cap, and dash looks like it might be Frieghtliners digital dash, and camera/radio has much bigger screen:

Forza definitely has the Frieghtliner Optiview digital dash now, which is interesting as the only other coach I have seen with it is the Newmar New Aire at a much higher price point:

So is this why the price has gone up so much? The new dash design?

Not sure, but you did ask if it has changed, look like it has, with some higher end components.

Hope to get a better look at the Tamp Supershow and see if anything else significant has changed.
