I have recently purchased a 99 Chieftain w/ a 275 cummins diesel. the literature I got with the MH has conflicting info regarding the oil change frequency. One says 6000 miles and the manual says 15000. Whats recommended ????

You have the ISB electronic Cummins, and the the recommended oil change is 15,000 miles or 1 year. I have same engine, but I change every 6,000 miles, since the chassis calls for lubing every 6,000 and since I am doing this, I change oil also. Just my conservative nature!
