The skylite above the shower in my 36G has developed a crack. Does anyone know if I have to get this from Winnebago or is it pretty generic and can be obtained elsewhere?

I suspect that will be a Winnebago-specific item. I have found the folks at Lichtsinn motors very helpful and reasonably priced for Winne parts. They ship quickly. Perhaps there is another source especially if other coach manufactuers use that same assembly. I suspect if anyone here has found one elsewhere, they will chime in soon.

Of course, you can always use something like eternabond tape over the crack (if it is on the outer skin) and that will fix it...might not look great but it won't leak.

Replaced ours a couple of years ago - it had several cracks. Lichtsinn was prompt in shipping. Here's what it cost in '06:
Skylight: $134.65
Sealant : $ 25.90
Shipping: $ 27.84
Total: $188.39

I used the same self-leveling sealant that Winnebago uses.
