40U batterie disconnect.

Just purchased a 2013 40U journey. On our maiden voyage
with this one. We are Fulltimers, have been for two years.
There are two batterie switches on the passenger side console.
Chasis batterie and and Coach batterie.
Are these better left off or on while while camped.
Read the book and did not get a answer I could under stand.

If you turn either off, it will not be charged by the inverter. If you turn off the chassis switch, the radio, clock, etc on the dash will loose its programing. As long as you are plugged in I can not think of any reason to switch either off.

Ours have been on since we bought Mar 2012, we are also fulltimers.

All our batteries are AGM, and inverter/charger works really well at keeping them up.
