42' TOUR windshield crack

I'm about to undertake a 2nd replacement windshield (ws) on my rig. The new crack started in exactly the same place as the previous ws crack: At the bottom of the ws, in close proximity to the driver-side ws-wiper-arm drive shaft.

The fact that the crack started in such a similar place (and not the result of a rock hit) makes me wonder: Any TOUR-owners having a similar problem?

Good luck! My Tour has only rock inflicted chips so far that I try to get serviced as soon as they happen. Although I did just find a new big chip in a similar spot as you (1 inch from the bottom) and the crack went up and around and down, luckily the crack stayed in the black part of the lower windshield. I guess the chip source should still be sealed/serviced.

For that reason I have been carrying a rock chip repair kit. As soon as I get one chip, I repair it.
