I just bought a (new to me) used Itasca Sunflyer.

It has a 50 amp cord that gets plugged into the outside of the coach.
The cord is about 25', heavy and not very flexible.

Does anybody have any tips on storage of the cord? This coach has a
compartment on the left rear that is not very deep and I have to fight
to get the cord to stay in there while I get the door closed.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Try, storing it in a figure 8 configueration. It lays flatter and I don't have the trouble with kinks. Good Miles

Store your cord in a larger compartment.

I store mine is a 5gal. white plastic bucket; fits perfect! Can also leave partially coiled up in bucket if only using a few feet.
