I've been reading this forum since we bought our RV and all of you have answered many of my questions before I even had to ask them but now I need a little help in locating my "return air" filter for my A/C. Our RV is in storage now and it's a little too cold to crawl around looking for the filter so I thought someone out there could save me some time. The Vectra Operator's Manual indicates it located under the couch and I checked that area and it isn't. Hopefully someone out there has a 1996 Vectra and can help.
Thanks,
Ron

Ron,

On my 1995 Vectra 33RQ it is on the floor under the sofa.

Regards,

Neil

My 1994 Vectra's filter was under the couch directly above the AC unit.

Don't know where your basement AC unit is located but look in the floor above the unit.

Thanks guys. My A/C unit is located farther aft, closer to the dining area and I think I remember seeing a grill on the floor under the dinette table. When it warms up a bit I will check it out.

Ron,

The grill in the floor under the dinette is the heat return. If your sofa is next to the dinette and there is a tambour pillar comming up between the sofa and dinette to the cabinets above then the AC filter should be next to that pillar under the sofa. That pillar contains the ductwork to the ceiling vents.

Regards,

Neil
