99 Adventurer 35C Genny Had No Juice on Start?

Last weekend trying to pull out of our site to head home, I unplugged from shore power and went to turn on the Onan Emerald 5k and I had no juice at the switch on the generator. I went up front and hit the dash starter, also no juice, so no clicks, cranking...nada. I have about 2 year old batteries which my onboard panel says are in the Green (for what that is worth). I was able to use the crossover switch and get it to start off the truck battery no worries and ran the A/C and fridge for the trip as usual.

3 hours later at the house I shut everything down to reconnect to shore power, but before I did, i gave the switch on the generator a hit and the generator fired right up like normal.

Tomorrow, I'm going to put a load on my chassis batteries first and check water levels, but after that I am wondering where to go next if those check out ok. My first thought was to the converter, which I haven't put eyes on, but it sounds like it is under the fridge or the oven as I can hear the fan from time to time. I am under the impression I have an original converter as I have good records from the previous owner.

Any other thoughts would be welcomed as I take to it in the am.

Thanks in advance, to my Winnie brethren.

The battery voltage indicator requires only , micro-amps to give a voltage reading, starting the gen set requires good connections from the batteries all the way to the gen set. The run time may have got the battery connections warm enough to provide a better connection for start up. JMHO. Clean the battery cables.
