Just wondering if anyone has had a simular problem, and what their fix was??

i used contact cleaner on the thermostat slide switch. that worked for a while. i eventually had to replace the thermostat assembly.
soon after replacing the thermostat, i had to replace the #1 compressor starting relay.
i also had to replace my sf-42 furnace control board soon after replacing the relay.
my hvac system has been working well for the last year or so.
