OK, we keep the RV plugged into a standard plug at the house when not in use until we can get a 30 amp outlet installed. This has never been a problem since we do not run the AC. After a recent trip out and unplugging the RV, when I got back it kept blowing the fuse in the house. After searching I had to shut the breaker off for the AC even though it is not pushing out air and turned off at the thermastat? Seems as if it is staying on now? Any ideas?

Thanks

If your AC tries to start, the raise in starting current will trip your breaker if 15 amp, if circuit was 20 amp may not trip.
If you have your refrigerator on and have a defective electric element the element will trip your circuit breaker.
If you used a GFI outlet that would trip.

Just not sure why the AC is even staying on? It is off at the thermostat but is still trying to start up?

If it's a basement unit, do you have the fan control in the auto position or on position ?
