Accessing front TV in 2011 Access 31NP

Got a Tailgater Dish receiver and antenna for Christmas. Should be easy install, right? Plug-n-play, right?

Well, if I could figure out how to get to the backside of the TV:

And/or the backside of the Box-o-Buttons:

(Apologies for the shaky photo.)

Anybody got any hints on this?

We have different models, but since you're not getting responses, I'll take a shot. Winnie does a lot of things the same across all their lines and for many years...

Open the cabinet doors on each side of the TV and look for a couple screws on each side going into the side of that wood frame surrounding your TV. If you can get that frame off, the rest of the access should be obvious.

They like to mount the selector box with industrial strength velcro. Mine has a strip all the way across under the front on the box. Looks like yours has a couple of feet that mine doesn't have. See if there is velcro under those feet. If so, use something like a kitchen knife to separate the velcro - it's very strong stuff.

Good luck!

TV

I have a 2008 cambria with same frame around the tv I removed the narrow moldings on each side of tv with a thin putty knife gently pry and you will see
screws that hold the tv frame in place once the screws are remove the frame will come off and you will see how the tv is mounted and you will have accsess to back of tv where the connections are made.
Hope this helps.

OK, another afternoon of searching for the unknowable.

Inside the left and right cabinets are formed metal plates that run from the floor of the cabinet to the ceiling. They are screwed in place. I have removed the screws from the right-hand cabinet but the plate does not yield to gentle prying. (Again, apologies for poor photo quality.)

Now, back to the Box-o-Buttons in the right-hand cabinet. It is held in place by a metal bracket that is screwed to the wooden base.

jdlay, I think I've found the trim pieces you are talking about. I'll investigate them more fully this afternoon.

or you could just try using the existing connections that are coming out of your RCA unit to see how it works before you start taking apart the coach...

Which also appears to be mounted solidly to the cabinet.
