Has anyone with a 2009, 2010 or 2011 Winnebago/Itasca Class C purchased an ADCO Windshield Cover? The mirror model was changed starting 2009 and it appears that where it is attached to the door it is a bit larger than the mirrors for 2008 and earlier. The photos I have seen for the ADCO E450 Windshield Cover appears to have a smaller opening for the mirror than I think I need for my mirror. But then again, maybe it will fit.

If someone with a 2009 to 2011 has purchased one of these windshield covers I'd be interested to know how well they fit around the mirror.

Thanks

Don

ps. ADCO was not aware of this mirror change but their product development guy claims they will fit even though he has never seen the 715030 model Velvac mirror on an E450.

Don, I expect that ADCO will know if their product will fit and worst case scenario is a money back guarantee.

One of their guys understood why I was asking and suggested buying from CW so I could return it (which means two 80 mile roundtrips - one to get and if necessary one to return). I'm not going to disconnect everything and drive the MH there as that would use more fuel that two roundtrips in the Flex in any event.

The product design guy was livid that I was asking the question about it fitting and I hadn't even bought one. The reason I emailed ADCO was that all of their web material mentioned E450's to 2009 and I wanted to know about the 2011. A logical question, I thought. He sure didn't. He was so obnoxious I just terminated the call. I think I know why he isn't in sales. :(

I'm going to measure the mirror base (where it attaches to the door) and check the dimensions with an older unit in our park (if I can find one) and if they are very close I'll buy one. In a search of the web I did find a comment on another forum related to this and one fellow said it "just" fit. (All the ADCO product guy had to do was say "here are the dimensions where it fits around the mirror so you can check it without driving 80 miles." )

What I also read on the web was a number of comments on the mildew and stains they pick up that owners could not get off. That has me thinking and I may look at other products before buying.

Don
