I'd like to try and adjust the headlights on my Sightseer; has anyone done this? What tool would I need?

Thank you,

I've never looked at a Sightseer, but look inside of the hood on either side. At least on mine, there is a metal bracket glued to the front cap with a pair of cable driven knobs leading to the headlights.

SCVJeff;

Thanks for the reply; since the Sightseer is the not-so-fancy model series, I don't think I have those type of adjustments. Might be a Torx screwdriver; heading over to where it is stored and will check out for sure.

If you haven't found it let me know. I have a new neighbor that moved in yesterday with the Itasca version of yours.

Richard, the tip of the screw driver is shaped like a 6 point-star. At least, that was what I used to adjust the head lights of our Sightseer. The adjustments I made was to bring both beams to shine lower and intersect about 120 feet a little to the right. Like other vehicles, there is horizontal adjustment (engine side of the lights) and vertical adjustments (way behind each light - difficult to see and reach, but doable).

Relax, drive safely, and enjoy God's creations.
