Welcome to irv2. I've moved your post here to get some owner input.

jerboy, welcome to the Forum. What year is the (your) Adventurer? Someone with your model year may know. If it's around 2004, then it would be about the same as my Chieftain.

Also something to keep in mind is the additional width to get the compartment doors open. I had a custom aluminum carport built for my motorhome 15 ft wide and I did not have much room to spare to get the basement doors open.....that's an issue with the Winnebago "Store More" attached to the slide.

Let us know what you need the width info for.

Bill

It is a 2005 Adventurer 38J. Yes I am looking to construct a shed for it soon. We will be going to pick it up in Texas this weekend.

Oh wow, how exciting! You'll find plenty of support here in the Winnebago group and in the Workhorse group (look for "The Chassis Club Forums" in this site).

With 15 ft of clearance, you have to be backed in within 1-2 inches of center or you can't fully open an compartment door. If I had a do-over I'd go for 16 ft or more if you have the space and $$.

Good luck & have fun,

Bill
