I have a 2000 Adventurer. Some of the decorative striping is starting to crack and peel. I can get replacement material thru Mobility RV but am having trouble finding someone to take of the old material and apply the new. Any ideas? I am located in Longmont CO.

I've seen someone take the Alfa See Ya logo off the front of their RV with a heat gun. Don't know what kind or temp but it did work!
Maybe check at a rental company or auto detail shop??
Cracking decals could be caused by using a bleach mixture for cleaning. I read on some threads here that some use spic and span with bleach to clean roof surface etc... Beware bleach drys decals.
Good luck!

If any town near you has an auto striping place, they have experience doing the removal/application. I suggest talking to an auto body repair in your area or you can do it yourself. The removal is done with a hair dryer or heat gun. do not use a metal putty knife, if you need to use a tool try a plastic knife as used for applying dry wall paste.

Have you replaced them. If not, Know someone in Denver who did ours. Great job.

Nick, thanks for the follow up. I just had Dave Jenkins in Denver do it. Great job. Is he the one you were thinking of?

I have the same situation on the '97 Vectra. Where is "Mobility RV", and do they have a web site. I need to locate the replacement decals.

thanks for any suggestions.
