I recently purchased a 2004 Adventurer 35U on workhorse chassis. The passenger tailpipe is pretty close to the ground. Drivers side isn't like that. I looked at the tailpipe bracket and it doesn't seem bent to cause the tailpipe to hang lower. Tailpipe isn't loose.

For those that have this chassis is this normal? I would like to have it up a bit higher so it doesn't catch on something. I'm thinking about loosing the tailpipe at the muffler then bending the bracket so the tailpipe sits higher.

Check the connection at the exhaust manifold - that might be loose.

You're on the right track. But do as DriVer suggests. I have replaced the passenger side donut twice now. If there is to be a third I will be seeking long studs with springs. Good luck!!

Thanks. Never thought of the manifold connection. Will give that a look. Its going back to the dealer for some used warranty work and will put this on the list of repair items. I wanted to troubleshoot it first so the dealer hones in on the right fix.

Checked last night. The exhaust is loose at the manifold causing the tailpipe to dip. Thanks for the help!
