We arrived home from Forest City, 500+ uneventful miles, backed onto our pad and the air pressure starts dropping?? Both gauges indicate 65 PSI and suspension will not inflate. Recycled the HWH system and still having a problem. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Coach ran well and all systems were on the mark until I backed onto the pad and started getting the low pressure buzzer.

Do you have an air assisted brakeing system on your TOAD? A leak from the quick connect? Just trying to think of things that are new at the end of a trip.

 My thanks to 'sam-tip' a fellow Winnebago owner who provided the following procedure to reset the engine computer. Evidently the 'little brain' had a minor illness and he had a 'possible' cure! 'Possible' because I'm not sure if my air pressure is where it should be??
Air pressure never reached the 100 psi mark in either tank, holding at approximately 90 psi. I'm used to trucks operating at 120 psi. Took the coach for a short run down the interstate, returned home and backed onto the pad. The air pressure dropped to 65 psi?
"Best advice I can give is turn the battery disconnects for the coach and chassis off for a few minutes then turn them back on. This will reset the engine computer. Works best if engine heater has been on and engine warm. That way the intake heater does not pull down the voltage at startup. Let it idle at 1200 rpms for about two minutes and if air pressure does not coming up then run then engine above 2200 rpms for a minute or two.

I also lost air pressure once when the pressure relief value stuck open. This you can hear the air blowing out. It is behind the rear driver’s side tire. That is where the air drier is.
Just tricky to replace because the original was install with lock tight. Little heat and it came out easy. $8 at McMaster.com not the same but works better. Now using 200 psi valve not 175 psi valve. 175 psi valve would pop during acceleration.

Thanks 'Sam-tip', I've got an appointment next week with the local Freightliner service center. Coach is still under warranty and there are a couple of other issues they can take of.

So are you air bags inflating? You problem is solved if you can get it into the FL service center while it is still under warranty.
Try giving 1-800-FTL-HELP a call and they may be able to run you through some quick problem solving and troubleshooting.

Tom,
Air bags inflate and I have plenty of pressure to operate the coach. Under warranty so I'll have them fix a few minor issues also.

Willing to bet back of air guage housing is cracked have had to several of these replaced,you should be able to hear small air leak behind guage

I have the same coach as yours. I had the same problem it was a valve in the pump back by the engine. They showed me the valve and it was all gumed up and was not moving properly. Now when I idle the air pressure stays up. Good luck Jim

I've had to change my dump valve on the right front ride height valve twice. Regardless, you should be able to hear a leak that significant while under the coach with the engine off.

Thanks for everyone's input and I'm sure I'll refer to your suggestions in the future. Problem turned out to be a valve on the air dryer.
