Air System Drain Lanyard Location?

Can someone tell me where the drain lanyards for the air system are located on my 2007 Winnebago Vectra?

I have 3 in the right front wheelwell. 2005 Itasca Meridian Pp

If I remember correctly, 2 on the passenger's side. One on the driver's side.

The Lanyards come thru the frame behind the front wheels. You can turn the wheels to check thoroughly.

There is a possibility they are still coiled up at the air tanks. If you can't see them where the others suggested, you may have to get under the coach, locate them and route them so you can get at them in the future.

Finally got a dry day and parked on a slab so I got underneath and found them. All three hanging down pretty much in the center...two just in front of the front A-arms in the center and one just aft of the rt front A-arm. None of them very easy to access without crawling under but no excess lanyard to reroute to a more accessible spot.

If you have an awning rod with a 90 degree angle on the end you can possibly use that to reach them.

As mentioned, the awning rod works great! And it appears to me the lanyards have to be pulled in a perpendicular direction to the tank in order to work properly.

On my 2004 Journey all three are behind the front passenger wheel.

lajune - as I recall (not there right now) on my '04 Vectra there are three lanyards - one behind each of the front tires and (I believe) one behind the passenger side dullys.

You'll need to air up to raise the coach enough to see them, and turning the front wheels helps. Best way to grab them is to use your white awning rod that has the hook end.

FYI, one thing they told me at Camp Freightliner is that it's best to drain when the air pressure is only up about half-way, like around 60 or so. If you do it when fully aired up around 100 the pressure is almost too strong and it can 'part the Red Sea' and might leave some moisture in the system.

Thanks, still to wet to crawl under but we're supposed to have 5 days of sun so soon I'll crawl under.

Do you need the engine running? if you air up halfway and then shut it down would that be best for releasing the air?

For my Freightliner chassis I don't need the engine running but do need pressure in the tanks. Pulling the lanyard three or four seconds is normally sufficient but if moisture is coming out then hold the release a bit longer. Seems I read that doing this once every six months is normal unless you are in a high humidity area then do it more often. That's what I remembr reading but someone else may have more cuurent information.
