alarm system

We purchased a 1994 Winnebago adventurer with a chapman 450 alarm system we have had problems with it before but this time it has run our batteries down and wont let us start it . We would like to just disconnect it but cant get any information on it. As to how it is wired. The company that installed it is out of business and have not been able to find anything about in the internet. If anyone would have any ideas would please let us know. Thank you.

I assume that it has a starter disable circuit. As a retired Mechanic, I advise everyone to avoid starter interlock circuits in alarm systems - they fail way too often. This is due to both poor installation and cheap relays.

If you really want a starter and/or fuel pump cutoff, have a real professional auto/truck electric expert install a heavy duty toggle switch in a hidden location, and hard wire it with crimp AND solder connections.
